LANage

At HH we provide a location for overnight LAN sessions, this is merely the provision of a location.  At this stage we do not provide any equipment other than a few extension cords and power boards.  As a result all the equipment that is required for LAN session needs to be provided by the users themselves.

LANage occurs every fortnight (until our resident LAN staffer dies from exhaustion).  LANage each Saturday evening of the School Holidays (be aware that this may change during summer vacation).

It is a wise idea to bring the following (these are suggestions)

• 10m network cable
• 8 port switch
• 10m power cable
• surge protector
• Comfy compy chair (only if you really don’t want to sit on a normal chair all night)
• Something to die on (like a pillow, doona, etc)

These are not special requirements, but they will probably help everyone involved.
